On Fridays in June we have Women’s and Men’s Putting Championships. The Men’s event is called the Maynard Clough Putting Championship. Open to full members, players compete for a chance for to have their names etched into the benches alongside the practice green in a 2-person, match play (aces only) format. The practice green is cut and rolled and “front” and “back” tees are set up to each hole from between 6 and 15 feet.
This event is always a lot of fun and has run late into the night with headlights required to declare a winner in past years!
